Webkinz Black And White Panda Plush Review

What a wonderful teaching tool. My 6 and 9 year old love their pet. This pet allows academic skills to be reinforced, such as math and reading, but they also learn life skills, such as taking care of someone else.
It is a daily argument as to whom will feed and nurture their pet first. This is a gift that is still being played with today - everyday!

Melissa & Doug Dinosaur Stamp Set Review

Melissa and Doug Dinosaur Stamp Set
Average Reviews:

I ordered this stamp set for my 3 year old. I was concerned when I was ordering it that it might not be up to the job of withstanding a 3 year old, due to the low price. When we recieved it, we tore it open to find the box was made of sturdy wood, as well as all the stamps. And yes, the ink really is washable! You just put the stamp under warm water and the ink just rinses away. It comes out of clothing, walls and just about anywhere else toddlers may think to put it. And the rubber stampers that are attached to the wooden blocks are very clear when stamped. There are no broken lines or unwanted blotches. I recently went to a local craft store looking for more stamps and found the prices to be overly rediculous. This kit is definately worth more than I paid. My son asks to play "dino stamps" all the time, and I don't mind pulling it out for him, because it really is washable. The colored pencils are wonderful, as the ink dries fairly quickly, so you can use them to color in the stamped outline. I most definately recommend this to anyone!

Imagine a landscape full of dinosaurs! Children love using the 8 detailed dino stamps and a two-color inkpad. It's fun creating countless scenes, and coloring in the pictures with the 5 colored pencils! This well-crafted set is conveniently contained in a sturdy wooden box for organizing and storage. It's a tremendous value that children will use over and over again! Washable, non-toxic kid-friendly ink.

Superman Dress Up Set Review

Superman Dress Up Set
Average Reviews:

(More customer reviews)
Overall, this is a cute little set to dress your child like Superman w/o spending lots of money. It comes with a vinyl cape, Superman plastic chest emblem, and plastic chain to pull apart and pretend like you're the man of steel. It will probably fit an average child up to about 6 or 7 years old. The chest shield has velcro straps on the top and bottom that stretch around the child's arm/shoulder area - so if your child is particulary large, it may not be comfortable to wear this. The vinyl cape attaches with velcro at the neck. One of the velcro tabs fell off and the vinyl started to rip (underneath the tab area) the very first day my son wore this. We took it back and exchanged it for another one. Even though the cape doesn't seem extremely durable, I'd still recommend it as a fun accessory for any little Superman fan. One more thing... I think the cape and Superman shield would look better in RED instead of the reddish brown color they ended up using. I'm not sure how many kids would care too much about the color though!

Kettler Sprint Balance Bike (Multiple Styles) Review

Kettler Sprint Balance Bike (Multiple Styles)
Average Reviews:

(More customer reviews)
This really is a cool, pedal-free bike. We got it for our three-and-a-half-year-old, and he really likes it. Friends of ours (with more disposable income) bought their daughter a Like-a-bike, which is about twice the price. I have yet to discover any big difference in performance. The Like-a-bike is certainly nice-looking, if a bit precious, since it is constructed primarily out of wood. The Kettler looks fine, however--more like a "real" bike, in fact, and less like a museum piece.
The only reasons I wouldn't give the Kettler five stars are:
1. you need to assemble it, and the instructions are not great (my husband, who is generally a handy guy, managed to get it together, but not without some swearing)
2. the wheel covers make it hard to inflate the tires

Child's Hoover Upright Vacuum Review

Child's Hoover Upright Vacuum
Average Reviews:

This is a favorite toy of my 2-year-old twins. I am here now to purchase a second one, so they can each have their own (it was too much to bear, to see one of them sit on the couch all sad because it isn't her turn!) This outshines the Dirt Devil in every way. It has a very comfortable handle and a nice foot pedal release to make the top tilt backwards, exactly like the real thing. And it only took them a couple minutes to figure it out, even at just over 1 year old. I bought and returned the Dirt Devil vacuum because it doesn't have that feature, and it also has a very uncomfortable handle, even my little girl said "ow" when she tried to use it, so it went back to the store and I decided to get another of these. It is durable overall (they stand on it and sit on it a lot). We have had this almost a year and have only replaced the batteries once, even tho they leave it on for a long time sometimes. It's a great toy, looks almost exactly like my "big vacuum cleaner" and my only complaint is that the hose doesn't stay where it should after so much use. But that is minor and I just have to tape it up there, I guess, because this is the best of the little kid vacuums that I've seen and I can only find it here on Amazon.com...

This Child's Hoover Upright Vacuum looks and acts just like a grown-up vacuum. Not only does it make realistic vacuum sounds and light up, it really picks up dirt. Comes with a cloth dust collection bag, detachable hose for had-to-reach areas and three cleaning tools. Step on the handle release to lower the handle. Adult supervision recommended. Measures 26" tall. Requires 4 "C" batteries (not included).

Matchbox Stinky The Garbage Truck Review

Matchbox Stinky The Garbage Truck
Average Reviews:

I wasn't sure about oredering Stinky unitl I saw You.Tube video of him. Stinkty came and my son loved him. It took him a day to learn all of Stinky's functions but he was aving fun with him right out of the box. Stinky performs everything as demonstrated. I did find one drawback. It would have been nice if the Matchbox have included a volume control in the design- Stinky is loud. I couldn't find anyway to muffle him but that is the only drawback. One other thing you should know is in the manufacturers directions it advises that Stinky not be played wit outside as dirt, sand and wter can cause him to malfunction so if you child takes him in the sandbox- he isn;t going to work and that's a lot of money to pay for a fancy Tonka toy. I think Matchbox shuld tell you that up front.
All said my four year old really seems to like playing with him. Amazon's price with free delvery was competitive with anything I've seen in stores and he is way cheaper than Big Foot who to me doesn't really do much of anything.
